Slay the Gerrymander: Bar Games for Democracy

November 8th, 2018
6:00pm - 7:30pm
Station Tap House, 194 West Ashland Street, Doylestown, PA

Adam Dusen and Sunghee Kim reassembled the always-popular puzzle of Pennsylvania in a lightning-fast 1 minute and 40 seconds!

The Station Taphouse in Doylestown provided the beer, and the attendees provided the creativity and civic dedication at a Bar Games for Democracy event. Child-mappers even got into the action, reassembling a map of Pennsylvania. Fair Districts PA helped organize the event, which included a variety of fun activities that help teach the essential characteristics of fairly drawn legislative districts.

The winning map warns of "hillbilly hordes" and "Maryland speed traps" (in an LOL kind of way.)
