Personal Statement
My IB History teacher was very helpful in giving me input while creating my map. The values I sought most to prioritize were competitive elections and equal population because I firmly believe that everyone deserves equal representation and should have their voice heard.
The most challenging aspect was having to cut up certain counties in order to keep their population range at bay. That was something that I tried to avoid as much as possible, though in some very populated areas it was inevitable.
