Draw the Lines offers free, one-hour webinar trainings on our project-based social studies and STEM curriculum.
We are available to meet with educators, often around your availability.
The trainings offer:
- An overview of redistricting and how it can be explained to students, including an activity that helps students draw a connection between any political issue they may care about and how it is influenced by gerrymandering.
- Demonstrations of the primary activities that we recommend for use in class (like Flashes of Insight and Gerrymandering 101).
- A demonstration of the mapping platform that students can use to draw their own districts and enter our public mapping competition.
